Nike Le Village – Year 1979
“A smart casual shoe with a sporty look. Soft, distressed brown leather upper. Cushier midsoles. As comfortable as they are durable”
The Nike Le Village remained in the Beaverton firm’s catalogs throughout the 1970s, and while it’s unclear why the swoosh’s marketing department decided to give them a French name, we’re certain they were in fact a premium version of the classic Cortez.
This sneaker is perhaps one of the hardest Nike shoes to find in deadstock condition.
