The Classique Medium double-flap bag is a reinterpretation of the famous 2.55 designed by Gabrielle Chanel in 1955, modernized in the 1980s by Karl Lagerfeld with the addition of the interlaced CC clasp. The interior is lined with beige leather, in a shade that perfectly matches the exterior. It is structured around two flaps: the first opens with a snap, the second with a horizontal zip. Inside the main compartment are two patch pockets and a lipstick pouch, true to the classic Chanel configuration. The double C logo is embossed on the inside of the top flap. A leather label stamped “CHANEL® Made in France” and a serial number starting with 6 – corresponding to production between 2000 and 2002 – are visible. The bag comes with its original authenticity card.
Product Condition:
This bag is in very good condition. A few superficial marks of use, notably on the bottom corners. The interior is clean and well preserved, although there are two visible pen marks (see photos). The silver jewelry is shiny and free of oxidation. Chains and seams are solid, and the overall structure of the bag is well preserved.
Care instructions:
Lamb leather is a delicate material that requires regular care: avoid prolonged exposure to direct light, moisture or repeated rubbing. In the event of soiling, a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth can be used with care. For in-depth care, use the services of a luxury leather specialist. Storing the bag in its dustbag, lined with tissue paper, helps to maintain its shape and protect the jewelry.
